Roz Brooks obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1990 and completed her Masters Degree in Education from the same university in 2003.

For the past 8 years I have been supporting women of color as well as the low income community at large with improving all aspects of their health. After being donated 5 acres of barren land in 2010, I set out to create Las Vegas’ first public community garden. Through that project I have taught hundreds of local residents how to grow their own food and have had over 400 people go through my 12 week health and nutrition class, including a couple of physicians.

I became a certified Medical Missionary and Wellness Coach in 2014, learning all about how to improve health in the body according to Scriptural Based principles. It is this information that I learned, that has helped over 400 people improve their knowledge of health and nutrition, overcome obesity, reduce diabetes and high blood pressure health markers, reduce stress levels, pass this knowledge down to others in their family, and have an overall more positive outlook on their life and their health.

I have extensive experience in this field having also been contracted by our local government entity to conduct Wellness Classes for government employees. This was done at four locations: Regional Justice Courthouse; McCarran Airport; Water Authority; and the County Government building. My team and I conducted weekly classes at each location during a six-month employee wellness program they received funding for. I not only have the experience, but the capability to truly change the trajectory of health in the minority community. I have published a book called Natural Remedies, recipes that will assist your efforts to care for your body in the most natural way using ingredients from nature.”
